Beatjazz & Different Ways of Knowing

Part of a series of weekly TED talks I’ve been watching and thinking about. Have a look, have a think, comment if you’d like. Some interesting thoughts here with regards to accessibility.

Onyx Ashanti: This is beatjazz

    – very interesting perspective for sure. To be quite honest, I don’t associate colour nor shape to numbers, excepting of course the shapes of the number themselves.

The timing of my viewing this TED talk is somewhat remarkable – I had a very similar conversation with some neighbours while at the local park. We engaged in a discussion around our perception of numeric tools, like a calendar. What does it look like to you, is it linear? a circle? is it square? perhaps oblong? My calendar is akin to an eclipse (in case you were wondering 😉

thanks for sharing Kyle – good idea.
